1. Joie pact lite: the lightest we list
At 5.35 kg, the pact lite is the featherweight here, and it's suitable from birth to 15 kg. It folds to 46.8 × 26 × 54 cm. If weight is your top priority and you want to keep the cost down, start here. It also suits the budget hub.
2. Joolz Aer+: light with a flat-ish fold
The Aer+ weighs 6 kg and folds to 53.5 × 45 × 21.5 cm. That's thinner than most but wider, so it slides into narrow gaps well. At £419 (checked 14 Oct 2026), it's the mid-priced pick.
3. Bugaboo Butterfly 2: heaviest of the three, smallest fold
The Butterfly 2 is 7.3 kg, so it's the heaviest of the three, but it has the most compact fold at 44.8 × 24.5 × 55.5 cm, which Bugaboo describes as IATA cabin-compatible. If you fly often, that trade-off may be worth it.
