Eco & sustainable baby gear

Kiddieko started in 2007 as an eco-friendly nursery brand. We're bringing that back: baby and travel gear that lasts, is made from better materials, or is bought pre-loved, and we only repeat eco claims a maker actually publishes, with the source linked.

Quick answers

What's the most sustainable baby gear?

Usually the gear you don't buy new: borrow, buy pre-loved (except car seats) and pass it on. After that, choose things built to last, with certified or recycled materials.

Which travel pushchairs have eco credentials?

Joolz says all Aer+ fabrics are 100% recycled; Bugaboo says the Butterfly 2 uses 60% recycled aluminium. See eco-friendly travel pushchairs.

What does GOTS mean?

The Global Organic Textile Standard certifies textiles made from organic fibres, from raw material to manufacturing. Frugi, for example, says it's GOTS certified by Soil Association Certification.
